- Copper ETP
The production of copper sheets is carried out by a process that entails the rolling of sheets produced in a continuous casting process.
Cu-ETP (Electrolytic Tough Pitch) copper is a copper obtained by electrolytic refining and treated with pine trunk (the treatment is applied to the liquid metal in order to reduce oxidation); it is characterised by the presence of oxygen and the absence of phosphorus. Phosphorus, unlike oxygen, greatly reduces electrical conductivity and is therefore intended for electrical and electrotechnical applications.
These products are mainly used in the manufacturing of switchgear, welding machines, electro-erosion and components for electrical installations, and heat exchanger components.
