A wide range of carbon steel profiles
Profilsystem realizes different types of carbon steel profiles, obtained through hot or cold rolling processes, including:
- black steel, first-base carbon steel produced directly by steelworks;
- pickled steel, obtained by a specific pickling treatment. Once the surface slag is removed, this type of steel is again treated with corrosion inhibitors to preserve its surface appearance and can receive coatings such as galvanizing, painting and chrome plating;
- polished steel, made by a cold rolling process. Highly resistant, durable and reliable, polished steel ensures a good aesthetic appearance and does not require special maintenance.
