Types of standard and custom Profilsystem profiles

The metal profiles, obtained by the forming process, can have different shapes and dimensions depending on the sector and type of use for which they are intended. Standard metal profiles are characterised by the most common shapes and include U-sections, Omega sections, C sections and L (or angle) sections, which are mainly used in the building sector but also useful in many other fields of application.

For all these types of standard profiles, with symmetrical sides, it is possible to obtain asymmetric profiles, characterized by the same shape but different dimensions of the sides. The "U" and/or "C" shapes, for example, can be reinforced with additional 180° folded fins to double their thickness and obtain a higher mechanical strength.

All profiles designed and manufactured by Profilsystem can be customized according to specific requirements regarding the type of material, dimensions, lengths (from 450 mm to 13,000 mm), pitch holes and product identification marking, customized with mark, griffe or serial number.

Tubular sections

Tubular sections are "closed" by means of clamping techniques such as stapling, cladding or continuous wire or laser welding. The production from tube mill to high frequency or induction, which proceed at high speed - for deformation after welding, from round shape, for subsequent perimeter rolling - The precision limits are obvious, as defined by the mechanical reaction of the sheet in millimetre order, and it is possible to obtain relatively simple shapes.

This way you can get:

profiles of simple shapes such as round, square or rectangular shapes but with dimensions and dimensions different from those used in commercial applications;
profiles of complex shapes with custom design with decimal precision characteristics and use of basic raw material or superior mechanics, in steel pickled, polished, galvanized, prepainted, even pre-drilled and possibly marked step.

The customized profiles, made according to the specific needs of the customer, represent the real core business. 80% of Profilsystem’s production is focused on the manufacture of metal profiles with complex shapes, designed to meet the specific needs of partner customers.
To obtain profiles that meet exactly the required characteristics are fundamental, first of all, the introductory information to the project requirement or the application idea of the product itself in the industrial production context of the buyer.

Once the essential primary lines have been agreed and drawn, it is possible to proceed to the next phase of study and internal design of the equipment. Depending on the complexity of the profile under consideration, Profilsystem takes over the task of developing and producing prototypes, lots to be sampled, sufficient to test the customer’s production cycle. Once the standard quality terms have been agreed and approved, industrial production can begin.

In the proper spirit of cooperation and professional ethics, the works of the special profiles commissioned, even if not declared protected by copyright, are catalogued in a confidential and exclusive form of the client. The equipment in question is not considered as being the exclusive property of the owner, but as a partial contribution to expenses, in order to protect the customer from improper use towards third parties and Profilsystem from any non-commercial constraints of use of production facilities.
